What the role is
EGA’s National Graduate Training Programme, a limited-term traineeship of about 18 months in Abu Dhabi. Its stated goal is to prepare Emirati graduates to take on roles as first-line supervisors and to build a pipeline of future leaders. The first month is a departmental familiarisation to learn how each section works; the rest is role-specific on-the-job training, combined with technical skills and management competency programmes. Each trainee has a dedicated mentor and regular progress reviews, and successful trainees move into their target position at the end. The posting’s job segments point to refinery and electrical roles.
