CareerMENA is a job discovery site: verified jobs, internships and graduate programs for candidates from the GCC, the Arab world and everywhere else. This page explains who runs it, who it is for, how we check every listing before it goes live, and how the site is funded.
Who we are
CareerMENA (careermena.com) is an independent job discovery site. Listings are produced by the CareerMENA Editorial Team, led by our Editor-in-Chief. The site is published in English, with an Arabic edition at https://careermena.com/ar/.
What we publish
We publish structured job records: full-time and part-time jobs, contracts, internships, graduate and trainee programs, and fellowships, with employers in the Gulf, the wider Arab world and abroad. Each record sets out the same information in the same order, so you can compare jobs quickly: the employer, where the job is, whose nationals can apply, the salary when the employer states one, what you need, the closing date, and a link to the employer’s own application page.
Who is CareerMENA for?
We select jobs for candidates from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and the rest of the Arab world. International readers are welcome too. Many jobs in the region are open only to nationals of one country: when a job is restricted by nationality, the record says so, in the employer’s own terms.
How we verify
A record cannot be published on CareerMENA until it passes four checks. Our publishing system enforces them; an editor cannot skip them.
- We open the employer’s own posting. A human editor opens the job on the employer’s careers site or official recruitment portal. Job boards, reposts, forums and social media posts are leads, never the source.
- We read the closing date on the employer’s page. If the employer publishes no closing date and hires until the role is filled, the record is marked “Open until filled”, re-checked at least every 7 days, and closed automatically when nobody has re-confirmed it for 45 days.
- We take eligibility and pay from the source. Who can apply, the nationality rules, the qualifications and any salary figure come from the employer’s own posting, not from memory or from other websites. We only show a salary when the employer states one.
- We record who verified it and when. Every record stores a last-verified date and the editor who verified it.
On every record you will see the employer’s application link, the last-verified date and a status: open, closing soon or closed. A record closes automatically when its closing date passes, and statuses are recalculated daily. Closed listings stay online, marked “Closed”, for reference.
What we are not
- We are not the employer or a recruitment agency. We do not process applications, and applications happen only on the employer’s own site.
- Listings are always free; we never ask for documents or payment to apply. A genuine employer does not ask candidates to pay to be hired.
- We are not affiliated with the employers we list, unless a page states otherwise.
- We do not assess your chances or put you forward for a job.

How we make money
CareerMENA is funded by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are clearly marked “Advertisement”. We also offer optional paid reviews of your own CV and application documents (see Services). In future we may add affiliate links and sponsored listings; they will always be labelled. Advertisers, sponsors and service customers never influence which jobs we list or how they are verified.
How we use AI
AI tools may help us draft and translate text. Every published record is verified and approved by a human editor. Our Editorial Policy explains the full process, including corrections.
