About this job

What the role is

An early-career security post in Zain Bahrain’s Technology division, based in Manama. The officer helps run the operator’s day-to-day cyber defence: monitoring, investigating and responding to threats and incidents, administering and improving the security stack (XDR, SIEM, email security, vulnerability assessment, data loss prevention, threat intelligence and the awareness-training platform), tracking vulnerabilities with their owners, onboarding new security tools, maintaining Zain Bahrain’s security policies and supporting audits and compliance reviews. User awareness training and technical support are part of the job too.

Who can apply

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, cyber security or a related field, and 1 to 3 years in a similar role, preferably at a telecom operator. Zain lists working knowledge of network and endpoint security, firewalls, SIEM, EDR/XDR, access control, vulnerability management, incident response and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls, plus clear documentation and communication skills. The posting states no nationality rule but does not address work permits, so non-Bahraini applicants should confirm with Zain.

What you get

Hands-on exposure to a full telecom security operation early in your career. Pay and benefits are not stated on the posting.

How to apply

Apply on careers.zain.com under ZAIN2533 with your CV, highest qualification and passport copy. Applying is free.
